Here at Inspired Kings Langley we firmly believe that in today’s society people are completely serious about setting and achieving their goals – they just simply don’t have the knowledge, the time or most importantly the money in order to make this a reality.  The great thing about the team at Inspired Kings Langley is that they have the belief in their clients and make it possible to achieve whatever goals the client is focused on by helping them with the initial setting of realistic goals, personalised workouts and nutrition plan all at a fraction of the cost that you would normally incur with a personal trainer.

Steve Muggridge
Founder of INSPIRED Personal Health & Fitness

Steve has been an expert trainer for over twelve years where he initially qualified as an advanced trainer he moved onto expand his skillset by working with Her Majesty’s Royal Air Force.  This role included teaching large military fitness classes (100+) and maintaining fitness of all military personnel.


In 2008  Steve left the UK and provided expert fitness training for the NAVY, ARMY and RAF. Working closely with the St Helenian government and the RAF medical services Steve tackled the obesity and poor nutrition problems on the island and set up a health and fitness service to combat the problem as well as to educate.

Steve managed the British-owned fitness facility which catered for civilians, UK forces and USAF (US AIR FORCE), Steve also managed the expedition centre and became a fully qualified dive leader.

In 2010 Steve returned to the UK and set his sights on the NHS. Steve worked on a low secure forensic mental health ward having daily input into patients care plans and planned a structured activity time table for all patients.

It was then in 2012 where Steve worked with the South Essex partnership trust to work towards getting more people active in the NHS for the London 2012 Olympics, where Steve received a gold award on behalf of the trust in London by ex-Olympic champion Jonathan Edwards.

Steve was in this role for three years when he was asked to develop this new role into a service, at which point he recruited 25 Activity coordinators that covered 20 mental health wards covering Bedfordshire, Luton and South Essex.

In 2013 Steve started a successful bootcamp venture in Bedfordshire offering indoor and outdoor classes, where he wanted it to become more than just a class but a fitness community where all results could be tracked and each person used to help motivate each other.

It was in 2014 that Steve’s ‘brainchild’ was born and plans were put into place for INSPIRED PERSONAL HEALTH AND FITNESS; a personal fitness studio that would offer SPT (semi-private training) in Kings Langley.  His vision was that this studio would have the very best fitness equipment and would offer a second-to-none personal service to get results for clients.

The INSPIRED concept was planned to be a results driven and goal focused facility and so Inspired Personal Health and Fitness was born!

Jamie Cole
Studio Manager/Lead Advisor

Jamie started his career in the fitness industry when he enrolled onto a sports science degree which allowed him to then progress and achieve his personal training with Premier Global in which he accumulated around seven years worth of experience.

Added to that Jamie is qualified in the following:-

  • Boxercise
  • Kettlebells
  • Circuit Training
  • Advanced Nutritional Advice

Jamie also specialises in exercise referral consultancy and during his time has advised and trained people with various conditions such as

  • Diabetes
  • Hypertension
  • Asthma

Jamie also has a wealth of experience gained from working within BHS mental health.

In his own words “I am fun loving, easy going person and believe that my laid back approach helps clients and people in general feel at ease when in my company.  It is very important to me that my clients are always comfortable.  When training my clients it is vital to have fun but I will always encourage them to put in the effort required to help them achieve their goals.

Jamie enjoys training enthusiastic and goal focused individuals who are driven by a long term goal. He takes pleasure in helping and training people achieve the results they desire whether this being Semi-Private Training, Outdoor Fitness or 1-1 training. 

Outside the studio, Jamie practices what he preaches and loves to stay active by cycling, running and playing sport.

Aaron Jones
Instructor

Aaron worked at Virgin Active, Heathrow. It was here that he developed his experience and knowledge in a variety of areas, from working with clients on a one-to-one basis and teaching many group classes such as core, HIIT, circuits and kettle bells. Having spent his childhood actively involved in sport and competing at County level in Athletics, as well as becoming a semi-professional football player it seemed obvious that Aaron would continue to take the direction of physical fitness.

Aaron has always had ambition to stay fit and healthy, his most recent achievements were completing London to Brighton bike ride in 2009, Tough Mudder in 2012, and Toughest in 2016. Aaron trains 5 days a week, without fail and continues to improve his personal health and fitness; a great example of how every trainer should be.

Aaron’s focus is to help as many clients as he can to understand why it is so important to lead a healthy and active lifestyle.
Aaron has worked with a range of client of all ages, whether your goal is weight loss, strength improvement or just to come in and have a fun and effective workout. Aaron will be there to guide you every step of the way. He mostly adopts a full body approach in his sessions and classes leaving his clients challenged but most importantly feeling energised.

I have 10 years experience across a range of disciplines from Individual Personal Training, Nutrition and Event Management so whether you want to train for a specific event, loose weight, stay injury free, add muscle definition or simply get fit whilst having fun, I can help. Using the latest training methods and research, I enjoy working with the client so help them achieve their specific targets as efficiently as possible whilst also leaving my sessions with a smile. My firm philosophy is that enjoyment is as important as hard work when aiming to get fit and stay fit.
